Who are the workshops for?
The workshop is for everybody who wants to try writing and strengthen their creative muscles. You don’t need any previous writing experience.
It will be followed by the Working on an Idea (Level 2) course in November-December 2025. Working on a Project is a Level 3 course with a provisional date in February-March 2026.
What to expect?
Loads of writing exercises from 1 to 10 minutes to improve your creative thinking and build up your confidence. We will talk about writing discipline and how to become a writer. There will be exercises to share experiences and opinions about writing. I will lead you through how a feeling becomes an idea, a project, and a piece of writing. You won’t be asked to share any of your writing that you don’t like. Creating a supportive and relaxed writing community is my main goal in my workshops.
I teach small groups, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 people, so early booking is essential.
